Gemmell

This family's photos were actually taken a few months ago.  Mom and Dad had SIX boys, NO girls!  That must have been a very energetic household, and the house must be empty of ALL breakables.   Becky, the MAIN Mama here, asked me not to post them until she got her Christmas cards out!  She is also a photographer so it was quite intimidating! It's like a hair stylist asking another hair stylist to do her hair, or a tatoo artist tatooing another tatoo artist's body.  It's even like a teacher teaching in front of another teacher--which I also know is very intimidating because I used to be a teacher, and I had to do that A LOT!  Ha ha!  Anyway, they were very kind to me, helpful carrying all my stuff, (as I was fairly pregnant at the time), funny and just plain happy.  Love me a happy family.  Thanks guys, I love your energy and your cute faces!  =)

Central Park Family Photos: Jackson Grandkids

Grammy Sue had her grandchildren visiting her not too long ago. She wanted their photos taken and to be in some with them. Moms and Dads were stressed over their children's not-so-very-cooperative behaviors. I actually think one of the best photos here is when Grammy was with her grandchildren in the flowers and most of them just weren't having it. It's so true to real life! They will look back at that and giggle. I look at it and giggle. Kids, even when not cooperating with a smile, are still incredibly cute. Just look at these faces!!!

Oh this is actually Sue's son and his girlfriend.  Aren't they an adorable couple?

Favorite photo!!!

Love how Sue is laughing here.  She's such a sweetie!

Sisters

These 2 dolls go to my church.  They are dedicating 18 months of their lives to teach people about Jesus Chris.  They sacrifice so much to do this, I really admire them!  They wanted some pictures to make a Christmas card, and these are some of the fun shots we got!

Prospect Park Photos, Redlands: Short Family

I met this adorable family for the first time at the shoot. Both Mom and Dad were incredibly friendly. Gosh by the end of the session I realized they had done all the question asking and I had pretty much talked about myself the whole time! How pathetic is that? The two oldest boys (twins) were so adventurous! We photographed at a big, beautiful park called Prospect Park, and they just wandered all over the place checking out all it had to offer! The little lady was sweet and I could tell she was a daddy's girl. The little guy was the easiest going little guy I have ever met for his age. This is a family I'd love to hang out with on a weekend! They let me talk about myself, and apparently I'm really good that that. =)
